My Story

I have served as a teacher and principal for 25 years! My love for learning began in first grade—with a brand-new library card and the smell of books in a quiet classroom. I wasn’t there just to see friends; I came for the joy of discovering something new every single day. That wonder, that excitement, that hunger to ask questions—whether in school, at work, or at church—never left me.

Advancing Change Academy was born from a desire to pass on that same spirit of curiosity and delight in learning to the next generation. I believe children thrive when education awakens their imagination, sharpens their thinking, and honors who they are becoming.

This school is more than a program. It’s a vision to raise children who learn boldly, lead confidently, and live purposefully.​
